Huawei has officially announced the release of its next-generation Nova series smartphones, the Huawei Nova 10 series. The Nova 10 series, as the name suggests, will be the successor to the Nova 9 series.

According to a fresh source, the Huawei Nova 10 series smartphones will be released in China next month, in June 2022, although the exact date is uncertain.

According to one Chinese rumor, the Huawei Nova 10 series might be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC or the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 because MediaTek chipsets are not currently supported. It also says that the phones' cameras will be carefully adjusted.

According to another source, the Nova 10 series would continue to use the same chipset as its predecessor. The Nova 9 series was powered by the Snapdragon 778G 4G processor, for those who are unaware.

It is also believed that Huawei would release a customized smartphone cover with an extra SIM card slot in order to provide 5G networking compatibility to 4G devices. It's unclear whether the phone cover will be built by Huawei or a third-party manufacturer, but it looks to be a viable option for adding 5G capability.
