HTC's flagship phone has been postponed.

Given how long it's been since HTC released a high-end device, we doubt many of you are holding your breath for the company's next flagship phone. The handset was supposed to be released in April, but it appears to have been postponed.

The delay is reportedly due to COVID-19-related supply chain issues, so HTC hasn't given up on the project. Some believe the phone will have a unique appeal, similar to the blockchain-focused Exodus 1 and Exodus 1s smartphones.

HTC's flagship will most likely be linked to the company's Vive Flow VR headset in some way, and may even run augmented reality apps. Perhaps it's time for a second chance, and HTC is banking on the growing metaverse craze this time.
