On Tuesday, the Honor Play 30 smartphone was released in China. The entry-level smartphone includes 5G connection as well as a single back camera. Its camera module resembles that of the iPhone 13. Under the hood, the device is powered by a Snapdragon 480+ SoC with up to 8GB of RAM. For improved performance, the Honor phone includes a clever RAM expansion capability that borrows up to 2GB of RAM from storage. The dual-SIM Honor Play 30 runs Honor MagicUI 5.0 on Android 11 and has a 6.5-inch HD+ (720x1,600 pixels) TFT LCD display. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 480+ SoC powers the device, which is coupled with up to 8GB of LPDDRX4 RAM. RAM may be increased by up to 2GB for improved performance. The smartphone just has one back camera. A 13-megapixel main sensor with an f/1.8 lens is used. A 5-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 lens is located on the front.

The Honor Play 30 has 128GB of internal storage that can be increased with a microSD card (up to 512GB). Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/A-GPS, and a USB Type-C cable are among the connectivity choices on the Honor smartphone. Ambient light sensor, compass, proximity sensor, and gravity sensor are among the sensors aboard. The phone has a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging capabilities.
