According to multiple sources, Motorola's next clamshell handset, codenamed "Maven," will be equipped with a flagship chipset. Because the device's final marketing name is unknown, the rumour mill is referring to it as the Motorola Razr 3. 91mobiles leaked two images of the Razr 3 earlier this month. Now, reputable tipster Evan Blass has revealed an 8-second video clip of the Razr 3's front and back designs.

Hands-on with the Motorola Razr 3

With the inner foldable screen switched on, the "Maven" device can be viewed. The phone appears to be a late prototype or a retail version of the phone because it works.

The front-facing camera on previous Razr models featured a notch, but the next generation sports a hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera. It sports a horizontally organised dual-camera system in the back. It also has a larger secondary display and a fingerprint sensor on the side. The gadget is running a MyUX-flavored Android 12 OS, according to the video. However, there is no new information about the device's specifications.

Specifications for the Motorola Razr 3 (rumored)

A 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz inner foldable screen and a 3-inch cover display will be included in the Motorola Razr 3. It will have a 32-megapixel selfie camera and a dual-camera configuration of 48-megapixel (main) + 13-megapixel (ultrawide).

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipsets are expected to be used in the gadget. The smartphone might come with up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage. A 2,800mAh battery will be included. The price of the device is yet to be determined. Quartz Black and Tranquil Blue are two colours that may be available in late July or August.
