Google Pixel Watch, the company's first wristwatch, was launched alongside the Pixel 6a at the I/O 2022 event this week. Google announced that the wearable will be available in the United States starting this fall, but a new source claims that the Google Pixel Watch will ship with a four-year-old chip. The wearable is likely to be powered by the Samsung Exynos 9110 SoC, which debuted with the Galaxy Watch in 2018. The Google Pixel Watch will include interchangeable wrist bands and a round domed appearance. Fitbit integration will be available for improved fitness tracking.

A significant specification of the Google Pixel Watch has been suggested by 9to5google. The Samsung Exynos 9110 SoC, which debuted with the original Galaxy Watch in 2018, will power the wearable, according to the report. According to the source, Google is most likely employing the older processor because the Pixel Watch has been in development for quite some time. The Exynos 9110 SoC is a 10nm device with two Cortex-A53 processor cores.

Google recently teased the Pixel Watch at I/O 2022, but did not announce a launch date or price. The device will run the most recent version of Wear OS and will have a circular display with low bezels and curved glass protection. It's also made of stainless steel.

The Pixel Watch comes with interchangeable wrist straps that may be customised. Furthermore, the wearable will be powered by a new Wear OS UI with enhanced navigation and smart notifications.

Google Assistant, Google Maps, and Google Wallet are all supported by the Pixel Watch, which is linked with Fitbit. Using the Home app for Wear OS, it may be used as a remote for compatible smart home devices.

It will also track your heart rate and monitor your sleep. When working out, users can check their active zone minutes and track their stats and progress toward various fitness goals.

The Pixel Watch will also connect with the Find My Device app to help customers track down their lost Pixel phone or earbuds.
