Google released the Pixel Buds, the company's first totally wireless earphones, in 2020. And now, according to a fresh source, a Pro model is in the works and might be released shortly. For those who are unaware, this will be the third TWS earbuds entry from the Search Engine behemoth, following the somewhat less expensive Pixel Buds A Series. However, it appears that the company is attempting to compete in the area with a new Pixel Buds Pro, which will fight with market titans such as Apple and Sony. The information comes from well-known leaker Jon Prosser, who revealed that Google is preparing to debut the updated Pixel Buds Pro.
According to Prosser, the new wireless earbuds will be available in a variety of color combinations and will be available shortly. This set includes four color models: Real Red, Carbon, Limoncello, and Fog. Aside from this knowledge, the tipster did not offer any additional facts about this product. However, Mishaal Rahman responded to Prosser's tweet with further information on the Pixel Buds Pro. The TWS earphones appear to enable spatial audio and head tracking.
These two features were supposedly hinted at in part of the Android 13 code. Because Android also supports Bluetooth Low Energy audio, the Pixel Buds Pro may potentially enable this capability. Remember that none of these facts have been validated, and Google has yet to acknowledge the existence of such a device. So stay tuned for additional information.
