ASUS published a new teaser for one of their forthcoming product lines earlier today (5th May 2022). One of the most powerful GPUs in the consumer market will be found in the upcoming ROG Gunslinger 6 line of gaming laptops.

The well-known Taiwanese PC manufacturer released a new teaser, revealing that it would host a new ROG (Republic of Gamers) Summer event later this month on May 17. The firm is scheduled to reveal a variety of new items at this conference, with the new high-end gaming laptop being one of the primary announcements. This model has a lot of power because it has a top-tier Nvidia RTX 3080 Ti graphics card that claims to give performance as close to desktop versions of the GPU as feasible.

Furthermore, the next gaming laptop will be outfitted with Intel's newest 12th Generation chip. This is the highest i9-12900H CPU, which has 14 cores and 20 threads with a turbo clock of 5GHz. Notably, the Gunslinger 6 series comprises both a basic and Plus model, both of which are available in a variety of GPU combinations. This covers the RTX 3060, RTX 3070 Ti, and RTX 3080 Ti graphics cards. The new laptops will also include 16GB DDR5-4800 memory that can be upgraded to 64GB, as well as a 1TB M.2 SSD for storage.

The ROG Gunslinger 6 features a 15.6-inch display, while the ROG Gunslinger 6 Plus has a 17.3-inch screen. It is uncertain if the business is also providing different display options, but it is confirmed to have at least 2K resolution, 240Hz refresh rate, 100 percent DCI P3 color gamut, 3ms reaction time, and Dolby Vision compatibility.
