  • The new Radeon RX 6950 XT will compete with Nvidia's GeForce RTX 3090. TDP ratings are slightly higher overall, and AMD will provide a new free game package to purchasers.
AMD has now introduced their much anticipated Radeon RX 6x50 series GPUs, which are somewhat faster than their Radeon RX 6x00 counterparts but have higher TDP ratings. Performance should improve marginally, allowing AMD to compete more effectively with Nvidia and prospective challenger Intel. The market for GPUs is gradually normalizing after years of constricted supply and high pricing driven by cryptocurrency mining demand and a worldwide semiconductor manufacturing bottleneck. AMD has also unveiled the first games that will utilize their FidelityFX Super Resolution 2.0 picture upscaling function, as well as a new Radeon GPU package offer.

The Radeon RX 6950 XT, Radeon RX 6750 XT, and Radeon RX 6650 XT GPUs will replace the Radeon RX 6900 XT, Radeon RX 6700 XT, and Radeon RX 6600 XT, respectively. Each model has slightly better GPU clock rates and faster 18GBps GDDR6 memory, which results in a greater effective memory bandwidth. TDP statistics, on the other hand, have climbed.

Multiple partner companies, including Sapphire, Asus, MSI, Gigabyte, and Powercolor, will sell graphics cards based on these GPUs. AMD has revealed suggested pricing for the Radeon RX 6950 XT of $1,099 (approximately Rs. 84,790 before taxes), $549 (approximately Rs. 42,360) for the Radeon RX 6750 XT, and $399 (approximately Rs. 30,785) for the Radeon RX 6650 XT. Individual brands will declare prices in India. There's no information on when these graphics cards will be available in the United States.

The three new GPUs are intended for gamers that want smooth visuals at high settings with high refresh rates in today's AAA games at 4K, 1440p, and 1080p resolutions, respectively. They are based on the same RDNA2 architecture as their predecessors, but AMD claims that the firmware has been refined and the manufacturing process has been optimized. Gamers may benefit from higher quality images at their desired resolutions by using AMD's FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) and FSR 2.0 upscaling technology. AMD also says that this latest AMD Software version improves driver performance.

The planned FSR 2.0 standard will be used in a variety of games, beginning with Deathloop and progressing to Eve Online, Farming Simulator 22, Microsoft Flight Simulator, and others. AMD will also provide owners of certain Radeon graphics cards with access to a new set of complimentary games, including Saints Row and Sniper Elite 5, with additional titles to be released when the deal goes live.
