Ming-Chi Kuo, one of the most well-known Apple analysts, claims that Apple's upcoming AirPods Pro 2 are on track and will be unaffected by the current supply chain bottlenecks in China's manufacturing.

This is primarily due to Apple's decision to move some of its manufacturing to Vietnam, where the COVID-19 scenario differs significantly from that of China. As a result, the pair will be unveiled in the second part of this year, with mass manufacturing beginning around the same time.

In Furthermore, Ming-Chi Kuo expects that the AirPods Pro 2 would keep the Lightning port for charging, with the USB-C replacement coming in future generations. Apple is expected to unveil its rumoured iPhone 15 with USB-C port first, followed by accessories.
