Flagship phone lines appear to be expanding recently, with a bigger number of varieties being released this year and previous. The Xiaomi 12 series, for example, includes not just the Xiaomi 12 Pro, 12, and 12X models, but a fourth model, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra, is slated to arrive shortly. According to reports, this phone has already entered mass production and will be available to users by June.

A number of unauthorised renderings have been circulating the internet for some time, but several digital bloggers on Weibo recently disclosed some fresh details about the impending phone. According to Digital Chat Station, the next flagship codenamed l1 will continue to employ ceramic for its rear and will be available in the United States.

Ceramic is more harder to mould than glass, has a better texture, and has stronger durability due to superior scratch resistance.

While a leather version of the Xiaomi 12 Ultra has yet to be seen, the potential of a model using the material cannot be ruled out, according to the source (via IT Home).

In other words, the Xiaomi 12 Ultra will be powered by the forthcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus processor with the model number SM8475, which will be manufactured on TSMC's 4nm technology. It will also have a 120Hz QHD OLED display, a 4,900 mAh battery with 120W fast charging capabilities, and a Leica-branded camera module on the back.

The camera module is perhaps one of the most intriguing aspects of the gadget, and its massive module spans virtually the entire top half of the tablet. This module has a circular camera island with three cameras in the middle.
