Xiaomi's flagship smartphones, the Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12X, and Xiaomi 12 Pro, were recently released in global markets. The Xiaomi 12 lineup will also include mid-range models, such as the Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G. It will, as the name implies, replace the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G and Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE phones from last year. The Lite model appears to be on its way, as it recently received approval from the FCC certification site. Tipster Yogesh Brar leaked the Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G's key specifications ahead of its official unveiling.

The Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G will have a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The device will include a 4,5000mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging.
It will be powered by the Snapdragon 778G chipset. The device will have 6 GB / 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB of storage. The phone will be powered by Android 12 and MIUI 13. The device's FCC certification revealed that it will be available in three variants: 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage.
It will have a 16-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. The rear camera system will include a 64-megapixel main camera with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 5-megapixel macro camera.
The fingerprint scanner will be built into the Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G display. The device will include Hi-Res Audio support. The device's FCC certification also revealed that it supports 7 5G bands, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC.
