Following the introduction of the option to access view once photographs and videos in the WhatsApp beta UWP 2.2212.2.0 upgrade, WhatsApp is now providing another feature that was previously unavailable in the UWP version: archived chats! The new WhatsApp beta for Windows provides a more solid experience: it is a native app compatible with Windows 10 and subsequent OS versions, and it has been designed to be multi-device compatible right away. Unfortunately, key capabilities, such as the ability to distribute see once photographs and videos, easier administration of sticker packs, voice recordings, and so on, are still unavailable. However, WhatsApp is always trying to add the most recent features to the new beta version.

WhatsApp has launched the latest WhatsApp beta for Windows 2.2213.3.0 update today, delivering another long-awaited feature:

As you can see in this picture, you can now access your archived chats, but there's more: you can also archive and unarchive talks, despite some issues (for example, unarchiving a chat does not refresh the chats list). Things like these can happen with a beta version since WhatsApp is always developing and introducing new features. Because the archive version applied in this update is the most recent, you are utilising the new archive: old chats are always kept in the archive when new messages come.

Furthermore, with the latest version, WhatsApp has provided new icons when opening the chat options (Media, Files, Links, Encryption, and Groups).

More features will be added in future releases, which is one of the reasons why you should always use the most recent beta. To see your archived chats today, make sure to update to the newest beta version available on the Microsoft Store.
