WhatsApp is developing a community tab.

We revealed last year that WhatsApp is developing communities, a new method to manage your WhatsApp groups using admin tools on WhatsApp beta for Android and iOS. Today, we learned about a new unique page where you can locate all of your communities in a future app update. The most recent Community news was about a new feature called Community Home where you may list all of your communities, but no additional information was given. What we do know is that WhatsApp intends to replace the camera page with a new communities option, which will most likely lead to Community Home. We can finally investigate the new communities tab today!

As seen in this picture, WhatsApp is working on integrating the communities page into the iOS app, which will replace the camera tab. When you enter this tab and there are no communities accessible, we may read an introduction to communities: a community connects linked groups together, and all of your communities or those you are joined to will appear in this part. It's probably too early to predict what a community will provide, but we do know that if we are a community admin, we can reach out to everyone at once by sending messages to all of their members.

Even though the screenshot is from WhatsApp for iOS, we already know that WhatsApp is working on the community tab for Android, and we expect to hear more about it shortly.

This feature is not currently accessible since it is in development; it will be included in a future app version. As a result, be sure to check back periodically to learn about new features and which admin tools will be accessible for communities.
