Just when we thought the age of phablet-sized smartphones had passed us by, Chinese tech company Vivo introduced the Vivo X Note, along with the Vivo Pad and X Fold. The X Note features a 7-inch display, which is unusual for a smartphone these days. Vivo, on the other hand, has beefed up the X Note with the release of the Vivo X Note Aerospace edition in China.
The Vivo X Note Aerospace edition is the result of a partnership between BBK and the China Aerospace Agency. Essentially, the phone is identical to the original X Note, but it comes in a customized retail box containing a one-of-a-kind present. The X Note China Aerospace edition comes with a unique necklace that is supposed to contain a moon meteorite shard.
This amazing "stone" is carved from the NWA11444 raw meteorite and encapsulated in a tempered glass pendant. The phone has an LTPO 3.0 E5 AMOLED display with a QHD+ resolution of 3080 x 1440 pixels and an aspect ratio of 21:10. The display also has a refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness of 1500 nits. The screen also has DisplayMate A+ certification and houses a 3D ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner.
The Vivo X Note Aerospace edition is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen1 CPU and will be offered with a memory configuration of 12GB + 256GB. The special edition model is blue in color and will be available for purchase during a flash sale from April 15 to April 22 at 10 a.m. at Vivo's flagship shop on Jingdong (JD.com).
