Tata Play (formerly known as Tata Sky) has introduced the Binge Starter bundle as its most cheap option for watching over-the-top (OTT) entertainment on mobile devices. The new bundle gives you access to four different OTT platforms: Eros Now, Hungama, ShemarooMe, and Zee5. The Tata Play Binge Starter bundle, once enabled, provides OTT content access on compatible devices through the Tata Play Binge app. Tata Play also offers Basic and Premium bundles for Rs. 149 and Rs. 299, respectively.
The Tata Play Binge Starter bundle costs Rs. 49 and is good for 30 days. It comes with a seven-day free trial and offers access to OTT video on three mobile devices at the same time. Once enabled, the new bundle allows you to view content from sites like as Eros Now, Hungama, ShemarooMe, and Zee5 on up to three mobile devices.
It is crucial to remember, however, that the Tata Play Binge Starter bundle does not provide content streaming on TV or the Internet. To view movies and TV series from the approved OTT platforms, you must also have the Tata Play Binge app installed on your smartphone.
The Starter pack, like the other Binge packs, is only accessible to Tata Play subscribers. It also requires a valid DTH connection, however you will be able to stream content on your mobile devices via the Tata Play Binge app.
The Tata Play Binge app, which debuted in January alongside the rebranding of Tata Sky as Tata Play, aims to bring together OTT content from 13 platforms under one roof. It is compatible with the login credentials you have for your DTH connection.
Along with the announcement of its renaming, Tata Play added Netflix to its array of OTT outlets accessible via the Binge app. The US streaming platform, however, is not included in the newly released Starter bundle.
