The Redmi 10A, the latest inexpensive model from Xiaomi's sub-brand Redmi, was released in India on Wednesday. The lat

est Redmi phone succeeds the Redmi 9A, which was released in the nation in 2020. It is identical to its predecessor in that it uses the same MediaTek Helio G25 SoC and has a single 13-megapixel back camera. The Redmi 10A, on the other hand, has certain improvements. The phone has up to 64GB of internal storage, as opposed to the Redmi 9A's 32GB. The Redmi 10A faces competition from the Tecno Pova Neo, Realme C11 (2021), and Samsung Galaxy M02.


Redmi 10A price in India


In India, the Redmi 10A begins at Rs. 8,499 for the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage model. The phone is also available in a 4GB + 64GB variant for Rs. 9,499. The Redmi 10A will be available for purchase in the nation on April 26 at 12 p.m. through Amazon, Mi.com, Mi Home shops, and Xiaomi's retail partners. It's available in Charcoal Black, Sea Blue, and Slate Grey, and Xiaomi promises the textured back panel will stay smudge-free.

The Redmi 9A was released in India in September 2020, with prices starting at Rs. 6,799 for the 2GB + 32GB edition and Rs. 7,499 for the 3GB + 32GB option.

The Redmi 10A made its debut in China in late March, with a starting price of CNY 699 (about Rs. 8,300) for the base 4GB RAM + 64GB storage configuration. It is also available in a 4GB + 128GB edition for CNY 799 (about Rs. 9,500) and a top-end option with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage for CNY 899 (approximately Rs. 9,500). (roughly Rs. 10,700).

Redmi 10A specifications


The dual-SIM (Nano) Redmi 10A runs MIUI 12.5 on Android and has a 6.53-inch HD+ (720x1,600 pixels) IPS display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a waterdrop-style notch. The phone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G25 SoC and comes with up to 4GB of RAM.

At the rear, there is a single 13-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture and an LED flash. The Redmi 10A includes a 5-megapixel selfie camera sensor with an f/2.2 lens on the front for selfies and video chats.

The Redmi 10A has up to 64GB of storage and can be expanded with a microSD card (up to 512MB) via a dedicated slot. 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5, and GPS/ A-GPS are among the connectivity choices. This phone features both a Micro-USB port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. A fingerprint sensor is also located on the rear of the phone.

The Redmi 10A is powered by a 5,000mAh battery and comes with a 10W charger. The phone is 164.9x77.07x9mm in size and weighs 194g.

In addition to the Redmi 10A, Xiaomi announced the Redmi 10 Power in India as a surprise, featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC, 6000mAh battery, and up to 8GB of RAM.
