According to recent reports, Realme intends to launch the Realme Q5 series of smartphones in China. Today, the company confirmed that the Realme Q5 lineup will be announced at a launch event on April 20 at 2 p.m. (local time).
While no official confirmation has been made, Realme is expected to announce two models, the Realme Q5 and Realme Q5 Pro. The names of the Realme Q5 models are expected to be confirmed by the company in the coming days before the launch. Several new Realme phones, including the RMX3372, RMX3574, RMX3571, and RMX3575/6, have recently been certified by China's TENAA authority.
It appears that the RMX3372 device will be released in the domestic market as the Realme Q5 Pro. The device features a 6.62-inch AMOLED screen with an FHD+ resolution. It has a 16-megapixel front camera and a triple rear camera with 64-megapixel, 8-megapixel, and 2-megapixel resolution.
The Snapdragon 870 chipset is said to power the device. It could have up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage. It comes with a 5,000mAh battery, an in-screen fingerprint scanner, and a microSD card slot for extra storage. It will be available in three colors: Mirror Black, Dream Blue, and Super Orange.
The RMX3574 handset is likely to be released in the domestic market under the moniker Realme Q5 or Q5i. It has a 6.58-inch IPS FHD+ display, an 8-megapixel front camera, a dual-camera system with 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel resolution, a 2.4GHz octa-core processor, 4 GB / 6 GB of RAM, 128 GB of internal storage, and a 5,000mAh battery.
