Yesterday, realme vice president Xu Qi mentioned on Weibo that the realme Q5 series will be released shortly, and now, further details regarding the series have emerged. The realme Q5 series will enable 80W fast charging, which can charge a 5,000mAh battery to 100 percent in just 30 minutes, according to Digital Chat Station.

The realme Q5 series is meant to be a low-cost product, thus flagship-level 80W charging is unexpected. 80W fast charging is a relatively recent technology that has been seen on flagship-level smartphones such as the OPPO Find X5 series and the OnePlus 10 Pro.

The realme Q5 has previously featured on the TENAA certification page, where live photos were also available. The phone seems to be flat-edged, with a dual-camera arrangement at the back contained within a rectangular camera module.

The listing also exposed some of the gadgets' important specs. The realme Q5 series will be equipped with Snapdragon 870 CPUs, as well as up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

The series will most likely include two versions, the realme Q5 and realme Q5 Pro. While the former has a triple camera arrangement of 64MP, 8MP, and 2MP, the latter will have dual cameras of 13MP and 2MP. The Pro variant features a 4880mAh (dual-cell) battery, a body thickness of 8.65mm, and a weight of 194.5g. The vanilla model is 8.1mm thick and weighs 190g.
