Realme debuted the Realme Pad small in the Philippines earlier this month. The Pad small is their second tablet to hit the market, after the release of the Realme Pad last year. The business has yet to declare a release date for the new Realme Pad mini in markets other than the Philippines, but a recent appearance on the Realme India website hints that the tablet will be available shortly on the subcontinent. According to MySmartPrice, tipster Sudhansdhu Ambhore has revealed that the tablet would be released in India shortly. The gadget was discovered on the company's Indian website's spare parts page. According to the listing, both the WiFi-only and LTE varieties will be available in the nation.
There is still no information on an official launch date or expected pricing for the tablet, but given that the Pad small is a scaled-down version of the Realme Pad, which launched at Rs 15,999 in India, we may expect the Pad mini to be reasonably priced.
Realme Pad mini specs and features
The 8.7-inch LCD display on the Pad mini has a resolution of 1340 x 800 pixels. The display has reduced bezels on the side edges, but the top and bottom corners are sufficiently visible to allow for comfortable handling when using the tablet in landscape mode.
The tablet is powered by an entry-level Unisoc T616 with an octa-core CPU and a Mali-G57 MP1 GPU. The CPU is coupled with 3GB/4GB RAM, and storage options include 32GB and 64GB.
The Pad mini has a single 8 MP f/2.0 camera at the back, placed in a rectangular module. A 5MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture is located on the front of the device. There isn't a single LED flash. The slate also includes a 6,400 mAh battery with capability for 18W fast charging and reverse charging through a USB-C connector. Inside the retail package is an 18W charger for the tablet.
The Realme Pad mini supports Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac connection. A 3.5 mm audio jack is also included with the tablet.
