The features and design of the Oppo Reno 8 have been disclosed by a well-known source on the Chinese microblogging website Weibo. Due to its triple back camera module, the phone's render predicts an appearance very similar to the OnePlus 10 Pro. Three cameras were also suggested on the back in a previous batch of renderings. However, the module configuration on the earlier leak is substantially different from the new ones that have leaked online. The Oppo Reno 8 series is said to include the Oppo Reno 8 and the Oppo Reno 8 Pro devices.
Digital Chat Station, a tipster, has revealed a photograph of a supposed Oppo Reno 8 series phone with a triple back camera system identical to the one found on the OnePlus 10 Pro. While the rectangular back camera module on the OnePlus smartphone is oriented in landscape mode, the one on the rumoured Oppo smartphone is oriented in portrait mode. The camera positioning appears to be the same on both handsets. It should be noted that the tipster did not indicate the model of the Oppo Reno 8 series the render belonged to.
Aside from the position of the camera module, the Oppo Reno 8-series phone has a flat display rather than the curved one found on the OnePlus 10 Pro. As previously stated, the photograph released on Weibo differs from those previously shared by LetsGoDigital. According to the LetsGoDigital article, the visuals are product photos from a patent design submitted by Oppo in China. The handset is expected to be available in Black, Blue, and Silver gradient colours.
Oppo Reno 8 series specifications (rumoured)
According to Digital Chat Station, the Oppo Reno 8 smartphone will have a 6.55-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,400 pixel) display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The smartphone is said to be equipped with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX7666 triple back camera.
Oppo has yet to publicly divulge any specifics regarding the Reno 8 series, so take this claim with a grain of salt.
