The Oppo Reno 7 Lite 5G, the latest model in the Reno series, has been released in Europe. The new Oppo phone is just a renamed Reno 7Z 5G, which first appeared in Thailand last month. It's also the same as the Oppo F21 Pro 5G, which was released in India earlier this week. The Oppo Reno 7 Lite 5G's key features are a 20:9 AMOLED display, triple back cameras, and an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC. In addition to the Reno 7 Lite 5G, the Chinese business is rumored to be working on the Oppo Reno 8. The smartphone is expected to use a new Snapdragon CPU.
Oppo Reno 7 Lite 5G availability
In the next days, the Oppo Reno 7 Lite 5G will be available in Central and Eastern Europe. According to the Oppo website, it is available in Cosmic Black and Rainbow Spectrum colors and offers a single 8GB + 128GB storage option. However, the phone's official price has yet to be published. It's also unclear whether the Reno 7 Lite 5G will be available outside of Europe in the future.
According to a recent source, the Oppo Reno 7 Lite 5G pricing will be EUR 350 (about Rs. 29,100) for the 8GB + 128GB option.
The Oppo F21 Pro 5G was priced at Rs. 26,999 in India for the same 8GB + 128GB combination.
Oppo Reno 7 Lite 5G specifications
The dual-SIM (Nano) Oppo Reno 7 Lite 5G runs ColorOS 12, which is based on Android. It has a full-HD+ (1,080x2,400 pixel) AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a refresh rate of 60Hz. The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC, an Adreno 619 GPU, and 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM. The triple rear camera configuration includes a 64-megapixel main sensor with an f/1.7 lens, a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter.
The Oppo Reno 7 Lite 5G has a 16-megapixel selfie camera sensor with an f/2.4 lens on the front for selfies and video chats.
Oppo Reno 7 Lite 5G comes with 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone port are among the connectivity choices. An accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor are among the sensors on board.
Oppo has included a 4,500mAh battery that enables SuperVOOC rapid charging. Furthermore, it weighs 173 grams and measures 159.95x73.17x7.49mm (Cosmic Black) or 159.95x73.17x7.55mm (Rainbow Spectrum).
Oppo Reno 8 specifications (expected)
According to a Weibo source, the Oppo Reno 8 series is in the works and will comprise phones with Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 and high-end MediaTek Dimensity SoCs, as well as the MariSilicon X ISP. One of the devices in the series, codenamed PGAM10, is believed to include a 6.55-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a triple back camera configuration with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor.
The Oppo phone will reportedly include an in-display fingerprint sensor and a 4,500mAh battery with 80W fast charging, according to reports. It would be one of the first phones to have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC.
