According to a source, the Oppo Pad, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer's first tablet, might arrive in India in the coming months. The Oppo Reno 8 smartphone series might possibly make its debut in India around the same time. The tablet, which was released in China in February, is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC and up to 8GB of RAM. It has an 11-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The tablet is also compatible with the company's proprietary Oppo Pencil stylus. The Oppo Pad and Oppo Reno 8 series will not be available in India until the firm makes a formal announcement.

Oppo Pad price in India (rumoured)


According to tipster Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings), the Oppo Pad will be released in India around the end of June or beginning of July. According to the source, the tablet would cost between Rs. 25,000 and Rs. 30,000. Oppo has not yet provided any price information for the Oppo Pad in India. The Oppo Pad was released in China in February and is priced at CNY 2,299 (about Rs. 27,460) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage option. The tablet was also released in 6GB + 256GB and 8GB + 256GB varieties, with prices starting at CNY 2,699 (about Rs. 32,200) and CNY 2,999 (approximately Rs. 35,800), respectively.

According to Sharma's tweet, the Oppo Reno 8 series would be released in India around the same time as the Oppo Pad, in June or July. According to previous rumors, the Oppo Reno 8 would have a 6.55-inch full-HD+ (2,400x1,080 pixels) display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and an under-display fingerprint reader. The device might be powered by an unreleased Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC combined with a MariSilicon X processor, or a high-end MediaTek Dimensity SoC.

The Oppo Reno 8 cellphone is believed to include a triple back camera configuration, with a 50-megapixel IMX766 primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor. According to the rumor, the smartphone would include a 4,500mAh battery with capability for 80W rapid charging.
