The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G India launch date has been planned for April 28, according to OnePlus. The new OnePlus phone has just appeared on certain certification platforms. The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G is believed to be a scaled-down version of the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G, which was released in February. OnePlus has teased the release of its new truly wireless stereo (TWS) earphones, rumored to be called the OnePlus Nord Buds, with the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G. On Monday, OnePlus revealed the release of the OnePlus Nord CE 2.
Although the phone's precise name was not revealed in the official teaser provided on the OnePlus website and other media platforms, Amazon hosted a separate homepage with the same teaser originating from a directory labeled "OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G." This is a possible name for the upcoming OnePlus phone.
The official teaser also features a drawing of the company's new earphones, which are likely to be the OnePlus Nord Buds and have only been rumored thus far.
Mukul Sharma, a tipster, claimed to have discovered the OnePlus Nord Buds — together with the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G, OnePlus 10R 5G, and OnePlus Ace — on the OnePlus India website.
OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G price in India (expected)
The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G is expected to cost around Rs. 20,000.
The OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G was released in India in February for Rs. 23,999 for the basic 6GB + 128GB variant. It is also available in an 8GB + 128GB variant for Rs. 24,999.
OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G specifications (expected)
The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G is expected to include a 6.59-inch full-HD Fluid display, an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC, and up to 8GB of RAM. It is supposed to feature inbuilt capacity of up to 256GB. In addition, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G is said to sport a triple back camera configuration, including a 64-megapixel main sensor. The phone will also include a front-facing 16-megapixel selfie camera sensor.
The Nord CE 2 Lite 5G is rumored to include a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging capabilities from OnePlus.
In the recent past, the phone allegedly surfaced on certification sites such as the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) and the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).
OnePlus Nord Buds specifications (expected)
The OnePlus Nord Buds are believed to sport a half-in-ear design with a pill-shaped casing. Each Nord Buds earbud is reported to feature a 41mAh battery, while the charging case is believed to have a 480mAh battery. The OnePlus Nord Buds were approved by the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) last month under the model number E505A.
