The OnePlus 10R's exact specifications leaked last month, indicating that it would not be a completely new smartphone. The 10R (codenamed "pickle") is scheduled to debut in Q2 2022, and while OnePlus has yet to confirm this, new information from renowned source Digital Chat Station suggests that this Dimensity 8100-powered OnePlus smartphone will be dubbed the OnePlus Ace.
If that branding seems familiar, it's because Oppo has previously released two smartphones with the Ace moniker: the Reno Ace in 2019 and the Ace2 in 2020. We didn't see any further Oppo Ace series smartphones subsequently, and we probably won't because that moniker is currently utilized by OnePlus.
According to DCS, the OnePlus Ace will have a textured rear cover and will prioritize rapid charging and gaming. The OnePlus Ace (PGKM10) will have a centered punch hole display, which isn't unexpected given that it's reported to be a rebranded Realme GT Neo3, which means it'll have the Dimensity 8100 SoC, 6.7" 120Hz FullHD+ AMOLED screen, 50MP primary camera with OIS, and a 4,500 mAh battery with 150W charging.
