The OnePlus Ace, the company's first smartphone with capability for 150W fast charging, is due to launch in China on Thursday. The device is scheduled to launch in India on April 28 as the OnePlus 10R, with the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G, and will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC. Official-looking renderings of the OnePlus Ace and OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G have appeared online ahead of their respective launches. The next OnePlus 10R will also be available in two charging models in India, according to the firm.
On Tuesday, noted leaker Evan Blass (@evleaks) published comprehensive renderings of both the OnePlus Ace and the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G. The OnePlus Ace is revealed to have a triple back camera configuration and a center-aligned hole punch cutout for the front camera — a first for a OnePlus phone — while the renderings indicate it will lack the company's alert slider. The phone's bottom features a single firing speaker and a USB Type-C connector, but no 3.5mm headphone jack. Meanwhile, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G is revealed with a triple back camera system and a hole-punch cutout on the left side for the front-facing camera.
Meanwhile, OnePlus revealed on Twitter that the forthcoming OnePlus 10R would come in two SuperVOOC fast charging options. According to the firm, the OnePlus 10R will enable 150W and 80W SuperVOOC charging. The Chinese smartphone company has yet to clarify whether the OnePlus 10R would have two battery capacities, similar to the Realme GT Neo 3 — a 150W fast charging model with a 4,500mAh battery and an 80W fast charging model with a 5,000mAh battery.
OnePlus 10R specifications (expected)
According to the company's website, the OnePlus 10R will have a 6.7-inch full-HD+ E4 AMOLED hole-punch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max SoC. It is expected to include up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The device is also expected to include the company's Hyperboost gaming engine, which is also available in the high-end OnePlus 10 Pro.
The leaked renderings show the smartphone with a triple camera arrangement, and it is reported to include a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 main camera. While the company has yet to divulge the battery size of the OnePlus 10R, the smartphone has been confirmed to come in two models.
OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G specifications (expected)
Previous rumors said that the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G will have a 6.59-inch display. The device is said to be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 695 SoC, as well as up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. According to the company's website, leaked renderings of the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G show the device having a triple back camera configuration, which will contain a 64-megapixel main sensor. It is also expected to include a 16-megapixel selfie camera for self-portraits and video chats. According to the business, it will include a 5,000mAh battery and support for 33W rapid charging.
