In India, the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro have begun to receive a fresh OxygenOS upgrade. The OxygenOS 12 (C.48) version includes the Android security patch for April 2022, as well as other system-level stability enhancements. The update will be issued in stages for OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro customers, as is customary. The Chinese tech company has announced models of the phones for the EU, North America, and India. Both OnePlus flagship smartphones are equipped with Hasselblad cameras and are powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 888 CPU.

OnePlus revealed the OxygenOS 12 upgrade for the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro on Monday through the OnePlus forum. The update is available for OnePlus 9 series phones in India, Europe, and North America.

OnePlus has begun the gradual release of the latest OnePlus 9 update in India, where it is known as LE2111 11.C.48. Users of the OnePlus 9 in Europe will receive the LE2113 11.C.48 build, while those in North America will receive the LE2115 11.C.48 build. Similarly, customers of the OnePlus 9 Pro in India are receiving the LE2121 11.C.48 version. The LE2123 11.C.48 build will be delivered to the European region, whereas the LE2125 11.C.48 build will be delivered to the North American region.

The latest update's description references an April 2022 Android security patch and system stability enhancements. The corporation does not specify the magnitude of the update. Users are advised to upgrade their OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro devices while they are charging and connected to strong Wi-Fi.

OnePlus will roll out the update in stages, with all eligible OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro devices receiving it immediately over the air. Users who are particularly interested in the update can manually check for it by going to Settings > System > System updates.
