In February, Nubia debuted its flagship line of gaming smartphones, which comprises two models: the Red Magic 7 and the Red Magic 7 Pro. These smartphones have high-end specifications, such as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The base model was released in worldwide markets in March, and the Red Magic 7 Pro global launch event has now been scheduled for April 12. Both models have previously made their debut in their native China. Unlike the base model, the Pro model has a higher refresh rate display and the Red Core 1 specialized gaming CPU.

The Red Magic 7 Pro worldwide launch ceremony will take place on April 12 at 8 a.m., according to Nubia's official website.

As previously stated, the Red Magic 7 and Redmi Magic 7 Pro were both released in China in February. The Nubia Red Magic 7 Pro is powered by the Android 12-based Red Magic 5.0 operating system. It has a 6.8-inch AMOLED full-HD+ display with a sampling rate of 960Hz and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and a Red Core 1 processor. This specialist gaming processor is set up to handle duties like better shoulder triggers, a low reaction rate (7.4ms), sound, vibration, and lighting effects. The handset has an RGB fan, a "canyon air duct" with a double air intake design, a front aluminum heat sink, and VC cooling.

In terms of optics, the Red Magic 7 Pro has a triple rear camera configuration led by a 64-megapixel main sensor. In the front, there is also a 16-megapixel selfie camera built into the screen. The phone comes with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 135W fast charging. It comes with up to 18GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 1TB of UFS 3.1 storage.
