Huawei is anticipated to release a new laptop in the company's MateBook series of products very soon. The device's GeekBench benchmark scores have been leaked online ahead of its official introduction.

According to the description, the forthcoming Huawei MateBook series laptop is powered by 12th generation Intel Core i7-12700H CPUs. There are 14 cores and 20 threads in the CPU.

It has 16GB LPDDR4-3733 RAM, which is the same as that found in the MateBook X Pro, which was introduced at the end of last year. The gadget received 10,726 points for the multi-core test and 1,693 points for the single-core test.

In terms of software, the laptop comes pre-installed with the Windows 11 operating system. Apart from these statistics, the GeekBench listing of the future laptop hasn’t disclosed many specifics.

While the company has not yet announced a release date for the new Huawei MateBook series laptops, reports indicate that the device could be unveiled this month.

The MateBook 16 with an AMD CPU and a 16-inch 2.5K display with a 3:2 aspect ratio was just released by the firm. It's possible that the next laptop will be an Intel-powered version of the MateBook 16.
