Motorola is rumoured to be developing a new smartphone that will be part of the company's Moto G-series family. The cellphone, said to be the Moto G82, has been found on certification websites in many countries, including the Wi-Fi Alliance, EEC, BIS, and TDRA, indicating the smartphone's impending release. The CPU of the rumoured Moto G82 has also been leaked after being discovered on a benchmarking website. Motorola has yet to make any formal announcements about the anticipated device.
According to MySmartPrice, a new Moto G-series smartphone with the model number XT2225-1 and the name Moto G82 has been seen on the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) website. The smartphone was also seen on the EEC certification website, where it is listed with the model numbers XT2225-1 and XT2231-3. Gadgets 360 was able to authenticate the smartphone's certification website entry.
Meanwhile, the Moto G82 was seen on the Wi-Fi Alliance website with the model number XT 2225-1, confirming that the phone would feature dual-band Wi-Fi and will operate on Android 12 out of the box. According to the source, the smartphone has also been seen on the BIS website with the model number XT2225-1, indicating that it would make its debut in India.
The rumoured Moto G82 smartphone was also discovered in a Geekbench listing for a smartphone with the model number XT2225-2, which has a single core score of 651 and a multi-core score of 1850. According to the rumour, the device would be equipped with an octa-core CPU, which might be the Snapdragon 695. According to the listing, the smartphone would have 8GB of RAM. As previously said, the firm has yet to formally reveal any information on the Moto G82 smartphone.
