Motorola's Android 12 deployment is gaining traction. The Moto G200 has recently received a stable Android 12 upgrade in various areas. And now, it's bringing the newest version of Android to another another smartphone in its lineup: the Moto G50.
The Moto G50 is now receiving the stable Android 12 update. The update comes with the build number S1RF32.27-25 and is presently available in the UK for the XT2137-1-DS model. We haven't heard anything about the upgrade coming live in Europe or other areas. However, it should only be a matter of time until Motorola spreads the deployment to further locations. Also, keep in mind that the gadget receiving Android 12 is the Snapdragon 480-based Moto G50, not the Moto G50 5G, which is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700.
Moto G50 owners in the United Kingdom may expect the latest update in the coming days. According to Motorola's software update website, the Android 12 update for the Moto G50 is soon but not yet available. The stable build, on the other hand, is already accessible via the company's Rescue and Smart Assistant Tool. You may either wait for the automatic OTA deployment or get the newest update using the Rescue tool and flash it using a PC right now. We don't advocate using the manual route unless you're a power user.
Users may expect a completely new Material You design, a revised notification panel, a Privacy Dashboard, camera and mic indications and toggles, and more. In addition to Android 12-specific modifications, the software incorporates Motorola's My UX features such as Fast flashlight, Flip to DND, and Quick capture.
Motorola has announced that the Moto G50, Moto G Stylus, Razr 5G, Motorola Edge 5G, and Moto G40 Fusion will all receive Android 12.
