Motorola's latest affordable phone, the Moto G22, was released in India on Friday (April 8). The Moto G22, which launched in Europe last month, has features like as a hole-punch display design and quad rear cameras. It also has a 90Hz display and a 5,000mAh battery, which is touted to provide 37.8 hours of backup on a single charge. The Moto G22 competes with the Redmi 10, the Infinix Note 11S, the Realme C25Y, and the Samsung Galaxy M12.
Moto G22 price in India, launch offers
The Moto G22 pricing in India is Rs. 10,999 for the single 4GB + 64GB storage model. The phone will be available for purchase on Flipkart beginning Wednesday, April 13. It is available in Cosmic Black, Iceberg Blue, and Mint Green, however the Mint Green option will be available later.
The Moto G22 launch incentives include a Rs. 1,000 bank discount on orders made through Flipkart during April 13–14, on limited stock. Online clients will now be able to get no-cost EMIs.
In Europe, the Moto G22 was priced at EUR 169.99 (about Rs. 14,000) for the identical 4GB + 64GB option.
Moto G22 specifications
In terms of specs, the dual-SIM (Nano) Moto G22 comes pre-installed with Android 12. The phone boasts a 6.5-inch HD+ (720x1,600 pixel) Max Vision display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a refresh rate of 90Hz. The Moto G22 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G37 SoC, an IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU, and 4GB of RAM. There's also a quad back camera arrangement with a 50-megapixel main sensor and an f/1.8 lens. An 8-megapixel ultra-wide shooter, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter round out the camera system. Furthermore, the rear camera arrangement can shoot full-HD films at 30 frames per second and is accompanied with an LED flash.
The Moto G22 has a 16-megapixel selfie camera sensor with an f/2.45 lens on the front for selfies and video chats.
The Moto G22 has 64GB of inbuilt storage that can be expanded through microSD card (up to 1TB) via a dedicated slot.
The Moto G22 has 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, FM radio, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone connector for connectivity. An accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor are among the sensors on board. The phone also has a fingerprint sensor on the side.
The Moto G22 comes with a 5,000mAh battery that is capable of 20W TurboPower Charging through the included charger. Furthermore, the phone has dimensions of 163.95x74.94x8.49mm and weighs 185 grams.
