The Moto G22, Motorola's next inexpensive smartphone, is expected to be released in India next week. The smartphone made its European debut last month and is powered by a MediaTek Helio G37 SoC with 4GB of RAM. It has a 6.5-inch LCD display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The device features a 50-megapixel quad back camera system and a 5,000mAh battery. Motorola has yet to publicly reveal any details about the Moto G22's debut date or specifications in India.
The Moto G22 will be released in India between April 4 and April 8, according to 91Mobiles, citing unknown sources. Motorola quietly introduced the device in Europe on March 3 for EUR 169.99 (about Rs. 14,300) for the lone 4GB + 64GB storage option. It is available in three colours: Cosmic Black, Iceberg Blue, and Pearl White.
While announcing the Moto G22's availability in European regions, Motorola also stated that the device would be available in India, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East in "the coming weeks."

The Moro G22, which was released in Europe last month, is a dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone that runs Motorola's MyUX overlay on top of Android 12. The phone has a 6.5-inch HD+ (720x1,600 pixel) MaxVision LCD display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. It has an octa-core MediaTek Helio G37 SoC with a PowerVR GE8320 GPU and 4GB of RAM.
The Moto G22 has a quad rear camera arrangement that includes a 50-megapixel main camera with an f/1.8 aperture lens, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture lens, and two 2-megapixel depth and macro sensors with f/2.4 aperture lenses. The smartphone has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.4 aperture lens.
The Moto G22 comes with 64GB of internal storage that can be upgraded (up to 1TB) with a microSD card slot. The smartphone's connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5, NFC, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone connector. The phone has a proximity sensor, an ambient light sensor, an accelerometer, a gyroscope, an e-compass, and a fingerprint sensor on the side. The Moto G22 comes with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 15W charging.
