The Huawei Mate X3 is a rumoured foldable smartphone that is expected to be released in China before the end of this month. It is believed to be the successor of the Huawei Mate X2, which was introduced in February 2021. The Chinese tech behemoth is yet to make an official statement about the launching of this device. It has, however, been identified on a number of certification sites, including the most recent China Compulsory Certification (3C) listing. According to the claimed 3C listing, the Huawei Mate X3 would be able to handle up to 66W fast charging.
According to a new Huawei Central report, the Huawei Mate X3 foldable smartphone may be released in China by the end of April. This smartphone was also detected with the model number PAL-AL00 on the 3C certification site. As previously stated, the listed device is advertised to support up to 66W rapid charging. It is apparently mentioned as having LTE compatibility, which might imply that Huawei would release a 5G edition separately.
According to previous reports, the Huawei Mate X3 might include a PWM (pulse-width modulation) screen with an ultra-thin glass panel from BOE Display. It is believed to have a battery capacity of 4,500mAh. HarmonyOS 2.0.1 is expected to power the smartphone. According to the supposed 3C listing, the Huawei Mate X3 is powered by a Kirin 9000 4G SoC.
The Huawei Mate X2 is powered by the Kirin 9000 5G SoC, which is combined with the Mali-G78 GPU. The device has a 6.45-inch OLED cover display. When opened, it shows an 8-inch OLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz and a touch sampling rate of 180Hz. The phone has 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage, which can be increased to 256GB with Huawei's Nano memory card. The Huawei Mate X2 has a 4,500mAh battery that supports 55W rapid charging.
