Honor recently unveiled its new Play-series smartphones, the Honor Play 6T and Honor Play 6T Pro. The company has officially begun selling the Play 6T Pro smartphones in the Chinese market as of today.
The Honor Play 6T Pro's base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage costs 1,399 yuan ($220), while the model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage costs 1,599 yuan ($251). It is available in three colors: Titanium Silver, Midnight Black, and Rose Gold.
In terms of specifications, the smartphone has a 6.7-inch IPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2388 pixels, a refresh rate of 90Hz, and a screen-to-body ratio of 93.6 percent. The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor and comes with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
The phone has a dual-camera setup on the back that includes a 48-megapixel AI primary sensor with a 1/2-inch outsole and a single pixel size of 0.8um, as well as a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. The device has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling.
It ships with the Android 11 operating system and the company's own Magic UI 5.0 custom user interface on top. A 4,000mAh battery powers the device and supports 40W super-fast charging.
There's also an Honor Play 6T smartphone with a starting price of 1,199 yuan ($188) that will be available in China on April 15th.
