On Wednesday, the Honor MagicBook X 14 and MagicBook X 15 were released in India. The new Honor laptops are powered by 10th-generation Intel Core CPUs and offer features like rapid charging, a backlit keyboard, and a pop-up camera. The laptops also include an eye comfort mode, which is said to assist adapt the colour temperature of the screen by lowering the intensity of blue light by 50%. Although both the Honor MagicBook X 14 and MagicBook X 15 run Windows 10, the Chinese manufacturer has guaranteed a free upgrade to Windows 11. The laptops also come with a fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.
Honor MagicBook X 14, MagicBook X 15 price in India
The Honor MagicBook X 14 pricing in India starts at Rs. 42,990 for the base model with an Intel Core i3 CPU and rises to Rs. 51,990 for the model with an Intel Core i5. In comparison, the Honor MagicBook X 15 costs Rs. 40,990. Both laptops, however, are available with an introductory deal that reduces their pricing by up to Rs. 5,000.
The Honor MagicBook X 14 will be available for Rs. 39,990 for the Core i3 model and Rs. 46,990 for the Core i5 variant as part of the introductory deal, while the Honor MagicBook X 15 will be available for Rs. 38,990. The promotion is only valid till April 12.
Honor has partnered with Noida-based PSAV Global Tech to handle MagicBook X distribution and after-sales services in India. The company claims to have service centres around the country and to provide amenities such as free pick-up and drop-off and walk-in services at its local service centres.
The Honor MagicBook X 14 and MagicBook X 15 first appeared in China in May of last year. While the MagicBook X 14 began at CNY 3,299 (about Rs. 39,200), the MagicBook X 15 began at CNY 3,399 (approximately Rs. 39,200). (roughly Rs. 40,400).
Honor MagicBook X 14 specifications
The Honor MagicBook X 14 offers a 14-inch FullView full-HD IPS anti-glare display with TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light and Flicker Free Certification. The laptop is equipped with an Intel Core i5-10210U CPU, Intel UHD graphics, and up to 8GB of DDR4 RAM. In addition, it has 512GB of PCIe SSD storage.
The Honor MagicBook X 14 has a backlit keyboard with a power button incorporated with a fingerprint sensor for input. A 720p HD pop-up webcam with a privacy option is also included with the laptop.
The Honor MagicBook X 14 includes two speakers. Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, a USB 2.0, USB 3.0, and an HDMI connection are among the connectivity possibilities. The laptop has a 56Wh battery that is rated to provide up to 13.2 hours of continuous video playback time for videos with a resolution of up to 1080p. It also comes with a 65W Fast Charger, which is said to charge the laptop in 60 minutes. The charger also supports multi-device charging, allowing it to power additional devices such as cellphones. Furthermore, the MagicBook X 14 has a thickness of 15.9mm and weighs 1.38kg.

The Honor MagicBook X 15 has a 15.6-inch full-HD IPS display with an anti-glare layer on top. An Intel Core i3-10110U processor, Intel UHD graphics, and 8GB of DDR4 RAM power the machine. It also comes with 256GB of PCIe SSD storage.
The MagicBook X 15's connectivity choices are identical to those of the MagicBook X 14. The laptop also has a backlit keyboard, a power button with a fingerprint reader, and an HD pop-up camera. It has a 42Wh battery that is rated to provide 7.8 hours of video playback time for videos up to 1080p HD. The smartphone comes with a 65W Fast Charger that can charge up to 59 percent of the device.
