During its May 11 event, Hisense will reveal its next e-ink smartphone. According to Hisense, the Hi Reader e-ink smartphone is designed to promote reading in a pleasant and appealing environment. The announcement was made on April 23, which is World Book Day. The new Hisense Hi Reader is a tiny and lightweight device. It weighs 177g and measures 7.5mm thick.

The glare-free display of e-ink devices allows people to read whether they are indoors or outside. It is a pocket smartphone with a 6.7-inch e-ink display with a resolution of 300 PPI. The revolutionary e-ink smartphone has an 84 percent screen-to-body ratio and automatically adapts to ambient conditions.
