The Google Pixel 6a has been circulating for a while now. Google has yet to announce the creation of new Pixel series smartphones. However, the Google Pixel 6a, as well as the Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro phones, have supposedly been found on the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) website, indicating their impending release. Previous reports have stated that the Google Pixel 6a will include a 5,000mAh battery and an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The Google Pixel 7 series phones are slated to be introduced later this year, while the Pixel 6a is expected to appear in May at the Google I/O 2022 event.
Multiple Google phones with model numbers GX7AS, GB17L, GB62Z, and G1AZG are visible in the FCC listing, which was initially identified by MySmartPrice. The devices might be part of Google's Pixel 7 or Pixel 6a series. According to other certification website entries, model number GX7AS is associated with the Google Pixel 6a. It was also identified on the REL (Radio Equipment List), verifying the nickname. The model numbers GX7AS and GB17L are thought to be related to the same phone. According to the FCC filing, all Google phones will support 5G, LTE, NFC, Wi-Fi 6E, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth connection.
Google Pixel 6a, the successor to last year's Pixel 5a 5G, is likely to be introduced in May. The phone was previously listed on Geekbench, indicating that it will be powered by Google's own Tensor GS101 SoC. It is said to run Android 12 and include a 12-megapixel secondary camera sensor. The Google Pixel 6a smartphone is expected to be available in three colors: black, green, and white. The 6.2-inch display is said to include a hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera. It's expected to have 128GB of storage. The phone may include an 8-megapixel selfie camera as well as a 5,000mAh battery.
According to previous rumors, the Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro would be equipped with a second-generation Google Tensor SoC and a new Samsung Exynos modem. The Google Pixel 7 is expected to have a 6.3-inch display. The Pixel 7 Pro's screen size may be 6.71 inches. The Google Pixel 7 Pro may also include a low-temperature polycrystalline oxide (LTPO) display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The Google Pixel 7 series phones are set to be released later this year.
