We reported in March 2022 that boAt was intending to unveil new fully wireless earphones in India. The Airdopes 500 ANC is now officially available in the country. The brand's latest wireless earphones include Bluetooth 5.2 and, as the name implies, up to 35dB of hybrid active noise cancellation. It is in-ear, yet it does not have a stem. The earphones can last up to 5.5 hours with ANC turned off, but only 4.5 hours with ANC switched on. Furthermore, when connected with the charging case, a single full charge will power the earbuds for up to 28 hours.
A short 5 minute charge will also allow it to play up to 1 hour of audio. Notably, the boAt Airdopes 500 ANC includes a specialized low latency mode as well as an ambient mode. The latter allows users to listen to the outside world without halting their music or taking off their headphones. A quad speaker array with ENx technology that helps enhance call quality and Instant Wake n Pair (IWP) for smooth connections are also included. It also has Siri and Google Assistant compatibility, as well as an IPX4 water resistant rating.
The new boAt Airdopes 500 ANC comes in a variety of colors, including Black, Blue, White, and Gray. These earphones are presently for sale on Amazon India's official website and retails for a price of 3,999 INR (roughly 52 US Dollars).
