  • In October 2019, the business released the first version AirPods Pro.
  • The next AirPods Pro model is expected to have a fresh design.
According to prominent industry analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple may release a successor to its successful AirPods Pro true wireless stereo (TWS) earphones later this year. The second-generation AirPods Pro are expected to replace the first model, which debuted in October 2019 – making these the first AirPods Pro model in nearly two years. While elements of Apple's rumoured successor to the AirPods Pro have previously leaked, the firm has yet to publicly unveil any specifics regarding the second-generation AirPods Pro.

According to Kuo's tweet, Apple may release the second-generation AirPods Pro in the second half of 2022. According to the analyst, Apple has reduced orders for its AirPods (3rd generation) by more than 30% for the second and third quarters of 2022, citing "much lower" demand than the second-generation AirPods model.

According to Kuo, while Apple did not remove the AirPods (2nd generation) when their successor was released last year, the original AirPods Pro might be decommissioned when the second-generation model is released this year. On Apple's website in India, the second-generation AirPods are now priced at Rs. 14,100, while the third-generation AirPods are priced at Rs. 20,500.

According to prior rumours, the rumoured successor to the AirPods Pro was supposed to be released last year. According to Bloomberg, the second-generation AirPods Pro will have a redesigned design that eliminates the "stems" for a more compact form, as well as upgraded motion sensors with an emphasis on fitness monitoring.
