Apple has published a new update for the MagSafe Battery Pack that improves charging performance. You can now charge your iPhone phones wirelessly with this battery pack at a speed of 7.5W, up from 5W before the upgrade. The MagSafe Battery Pack is designed to work with the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 models. According to the manufacturer, depending on the iPhone model, it may deliver up to 70% more charge to the device.

You may use the MagSafe Battery Pack to get the latest firmware version 2.7 update for your iPhones. It will update automatically, but Apple estimates that it will take roughly a week to complete. You may also download this update by connecting the battery pack to a Mac or iPad using a Lightning to USB connector, which will take roughly 5 minutes.
Finally, on your iPhone, navigate to Settings > General > About > MagSafe Battery Pack to verify the progress of the update.

There is no word on when or if Apple will release this charger. However, according to industry expert Ming-Chi Kuo, the Cupertino business might begin mass production of this 35W dual-port USB Type-C power converter in 2022. This year, it is projected to ship between 2 and 3 million devices. According to rumors, this charger may be delivered alongside a new MagSafe Duo. The adapter may not come with a USB cable, as is customary with Apple products.
