Prices for Apple AirPods Pro, AirPods (3rd generation), and AirPods Max have been increased by up to 10% in India. While the Apple AirPods Pro have had a Rs. 1,400 price rise, the AirPods (3rd generation) have seen a Rs. 2,000 price increase. The price of the AirPods Max has been increased by Rs. 7,100. The price increase is reflected online at Apple's official website. However, the corporation has not yet specified the cause for the price increase.
Apple's pricing increase for the AirPods Pro, AirPods (3rd generation), and AirPods Max was originally discovered by tipster Pururaj Dutta. As a consequence of the revisions, the Apple AirPods Pro price in India has been increased by Rs. 1,400 to Rs. 26,300 from Rs. 24,900. The price of AirPods (3rd generation) has also been increased by Rs. 2,000 to Rs. 20,500 from Rs. 18,500. Furthermore, the AirPods Max is now priced at Rs. 66,100, up from Rs. 59,900, representing a Rs. 6,200 increase.
The updated cost is now available on the Apple India website. Apple, on the other hand, has yet to give a reason for the price increase.
To recall, Apple AirPods Pro (review) were released in 2019 with active noise cancellation (ANC). Transparency mode is available on the headphones. They feature Spatial Audio and are water and sweat resistant to IPX4 standards.
AirPods (3rd generation) truly wireless stereo (TWS) earphones featuring hands-free 'Hey Siri' voice assistant function and compatibility for Dolby Atmos in Apple Music were released in September 2021. They include Adaptive EQ assistance and can provide up to six hours of listening time and four hours of conversation time.
