Airtel has introduced a new Rs. 999 prepaid package that includes an Amazon Prime subscription as well as free access to any of the chosen Xstream channels, among other perks. The news comes only ten days after Airtel cut the validity of Amazon Prime memberships accessible with its postpaid plans in half. Instead of a year's membership, consumers now get six months of Amazon Prime access. The move affected Airtel postpaid plans priced at Rs. 499, Rs. 999, Rs. 1,199, and Rs. 1,599.
Airtel has introduced the Rs. 999 prepaid plan as an unlimited pack that includes an 84-day Amazon Prime membership, access to one Xstream channel (SonyLiv, LionsgatePlay, ErosNow, HoiChoi, ManoramaMAX), 2.5GB internet per day, unlimited talktime, and 100 SMS per day. It is to be noted that Amazon Prime membership fee for 90 days is Rs. 459. The plan is listed on the telecom operator's site.
Other advantages include a Rs. 100 rebate on FASTag, a free Hellotunes subscription, a three-month Apollo Circle membership, Shaw Academy classes, and Wynk Music. Gadgets 360 discovered the package on Airtel's website, and the company verified that it was released on Thursday. OnlyTech discovered the new plan's listing.
