Airtel has increased its prepaid offering with the introduction of recharge plans priced at Rs. 296 and Rs. 319. The Rs. 296 Airtel prepaid recharge plan has a 30-day validity period, whilst the Rs. 319 plan has a one-month validity period. The new Airtel prepaid recharge plans arrive a few months after the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) mandated operators to provide at least one plan with a 30-day validity and one with a month's validity in order to give better advantages to subscribers.
The existence of the Rs. 296 and Rs. 319 prepaid recharge plans that were previously reported is confirmed by the listing on the Airtel website.

According to the official listing, the Rs. 296 Airtel prepaid recharge plan includes unlimited phone calls, 100 SMS messages per day, and 25GB of internet access. The plan is only good for 30 days.
Rs. 319 Airtel prepaid recharge plan benefits
Airtel's Rs. 319 prepaid recharge plan includes unlimited phone conversations, 100 SMS messages per day, and 2GB of high-speed internet per day. It has a one-month validity period.
Airtel's prepaid recharge plans of Rs. 296 and Rs. 319 include extra incentives like as a 30-day free trial of Amazon Prime Video Mobile Edition, three months of Apollo 24x7 Circle, and a Rs. 100 cashback on FASTag. The subscriptions also include unlimited access to Wynk Music.
The revised plans are in line with the TRAI ruling issued in January. Reliance Jio released the Rs. 259 prepaid recharge plan earlier this week, with a 'calendar month validity' that appears to be comparable to the one-month validity available with the Rs. 319 Airtel plan.
The Rs. 259 Jio plan offered 1.5GB high-speed data, unlimited voice calls, and 100 SMS messages a day. It also comes with a complimentary subscription to Jio apps.
