So, while Xiaomi continues to release new devices that are getting better and better, another device has been leaked. Although it is not yet available globally and will premiere today in China with the Redmi K50 series, it will most likely be rebranded as the POCO F4 and released globally soon after.
That's pretty much how the phone will look like, as you can see in the image above. And it doesn't stop there; the leak also includes specifications.
Specifications
As you can see from the image above, there are also specifications that have been leaked alongside the phone, which we will detail separately.
Battery
The phone comes with a 4500 mAh battery that should last for a day of normal use. The phone supports up to 67W rapid charging, which the company claims can charge the phone from 0% to 100% in 38 minutes.
Speakers
The phone boasts twin stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos compatibility, providing excellent sound quality in games as well.
Camera
According to the source, the phone boasts a triple camera configuration with a 48MP IMX582 sensor. It'll most likely take excellent images, but you can improve them even more by utilising Google Camera, which we'll show you how to do with our guide.
Screen
Like the vanilla Redmi K40, the Redmi K40S has a 1080p 120Hz Samsung E4 AMOLED display. For the sake of maintaining a good price/performance ratio, Redmi hasn't changed the screen specifications.
Design
The Redmi K40S was designed utilising the same design language as the Redmi K50 series. This design has a lot of s Instead of the K40's design, the Redmi K40S has a sharper angular shape, similar to the iPhone used in the Redmi K50 series. Aside from the design language, the cameras are positioned in a circle, similar to the Huawei P50 series.
Performance
Internally, the Redmi K40S is nearly identical to the Redmi K40. The Redmi K40S, which uses the Snapdragon 870 processor, has a larger 3112mm2 VC for cooling than the Redmi K40. Similarly to the K40, the K40S will include LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
