In 2021, Microsoft announced that Windows 10's lifecycle had ended, and there was Windows 11 with its top-notch new features and the newest concept on the door, but it was released so quickly that the majority of the UI hadn't been done properly yet and contained older UI elements from Windows 95, Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10. But don't worry, Windows 11 is still in the testing process on Insider Dev Channel versions, and there are a slew of new features on the way that will make this the finest Windows since Windows 7.
1.Explorer Tabs
Microsoft finally grasped the notion of using tabs on the file explorer after 20 years of UI modifications. This function will be so beneficial that you will not need to open additional explorer windows in order to drag your file to the other folder where you want it to reside.
2. Redesigned Sound/Brightness Bar
There were no sound or brightness bars before Windows 8, and the sound/brightness bar remained unchanged until Windows 11. Right present, even Windows 11 Retail releases feature the typical Windows 8 sound/brightness metre. To give the screen a MacOS-like appearance, the sound/brightness bar has been relocated to the bottom centre of the screen. It is also rounded!
3. Redesigned Task Manager
Until Windows 7, Task Manager was the same old Task Manager, with just minor UI changes. But this time, Microsoft finally put in the effort to redesign the whole user interface, including the Task Manager.
4. Windows Media Player, Remade.
Everyone used it, everyone liked it, and it had been available since Windows XP. Windows Media Player was the finest media player ever created by Microsoft. They attempted to separate Music from Groove Music and Videos from Movies and TV. That didn't work out so well. Microsoft has just released the all-new Media Player.
5. Windows Subsystem for Android
This feature is all about utilising Android applications (APK) on Windows 11. It is still in testing and has not yet been put out to the Retail/Stable versions. It will be available on the Amazon Appstore. You can now view your favourite TikTok videos and play your favourite battle royale game on Windows without interruptions or the installation of a third-party android emulator.
Conclusion
Windows 11 is still in the works, and progress is being made at a rapid pace. We anticipate a complete upgrade in November 2022. The whole UI will be redesigned, with nothing from the previous UIs remaining in the eyes of the end user. It will just be about providing the user with the quickest and most straightforward UI experience possible. Windows 11 will undoubtedly be a strong competitor to the other operating systems.
