HONOR has unveiled the HONOR 50 series for worldwide markets, which will be available around the end of October 2021. Outside of mainland China, the business exclusively sold the HONOR 50 and HONOR 50 Lite. These phones debuted with Magic UI 4.2, which is based on Android 11 and GMS (Google Mobile Services). Months later, the company has finally revealed when these cellphones would be upgraded to the most recent software.
According to HONOR, the Android 12 upgrade for the HONOR 50 series will be released in overseas markets as Magic UI 6.0. The HONOR 50 will be the first to acquire it in the second quarter of 2022, followed by the HONOR 50 Lite in the third quarter of 2022.
By today's standards, the company's schedule is inadequate. It's made worse by the fact that these are the brand's only two primary phones for worldwide markets. Hopefully, HONOR's software problem will improve sooner rather than later.
At the same time, it would be ideal if new HONOR smartphones arrived in overseas markets a little sooner. In June 2021, the HONOR 50 series made its debut in China. However, it took the firm four months to declare it for global distribution.
Similarly, the HONOR 60 series debuted in the brand's native nation in December. However, no official word has been received from the corporation regarding its availability outside of mainland China.
