WhatsApp has released a new update via the TestFlight beta Program, bringing the version number up to 22.6.0.73. The version number displayed in WhatsApp Settings is 2.22.6.73.
What's new in this version? A new Contact Info interface is being rolled out to beta testers!
WhatsApp is now bringing out the same interface when you open contact info after putting out the new updated layout for company details on WhatsApp beta for iOS 2.21.170.12!
The new updated interface, as seen in this picture, is the same as the one deployed on Business Info, and it also features a new search message shortcut. It is worth noting that when you visit Business Info, you can also browse status updates made by businesses; however, this option is not available for normal WhatsApp accounts.
WhatsApp is distributing this functionality in a different way: although certain customers who install the new WhatsApp beta for iOS 22.6.0.73 may receive the new interface, WhatsApp is also providing the same updated UI to selected users on stable versions, including WhatsApp Business. When releasing voice waveforms, they have already gone through this test.
