WhatsApp has released a new update via the TestFlight beta programme, bringing the current version to 22.6.0.70. WhatsApp's version number is 2.22.6.70, which can be found in the Settings menu.
What's new in this version of the game? WhatsApp is finally working on a feature that will allow users to create polls in groups in a future software update!


As you can see in this screenshot, WhatsApp requests that you fill out the poll question before sending it to a WhatsApp group. There aren't many details right now because the feature is still in development, but this screenshot confirms that WhatsApp is intending to incorporate polls.
Polls allow you to ask a question and have others vote on the answer. Polls will only be available in WhatsApp groups and will be encrypted end-to-end... including your responses! As a result, only members of the group may see the poll and its results.
