Vivo revamped the Y33s 4G earlier this month with the launch of the new Vivo Y33s 5G in China. The 5G smartphone is equipped with a Dimensity 700 SoC, a large battery, and the newest Android 12 operating system. The smartphone is currently available in China for a starting price of CNY 1,299 ($206).
Vivo Y33s 5G Specifications
The Vivo Y33s 5G has a 6.51-inch water-drop notch display with a resolution of HD+(1600 x 720 pixels). It has an IPS LCD panel with a pixel density of 269 PPI and a typical refresh rate of 60Hz.
In terms of cameras, the phone offers a front-facing 8MP selfie shooter. It has a dual-camera system with a 13MP primary lens and a 2MP macro sensor on the back. It sports a fingerprint scanner on the side for security and runs Android 12 with the Origin OceanOS UI on top.
The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, which is paired with 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage. It includes a microSD card slot for extra storage.
The phone comes with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W rapid charging technology. It contains a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C connector, and it is a dual-SIM phone. The phone supports Bluetooth v5.1 and Wi-Fi.
Price and Colors
The 4GB RAM + 128GB storage model costs CNY 1,299 ($205), the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant costs CNY 1,399 ($220), and the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant costs CNY 1,499 ($236). The gadget is available in three different colours: Fluorite Black, Snow Dawn, and Nebula Blue.
