According to reports, the Vivo X80 series would be released in India in April. The range is believed to include the Vivo X80, Vivo X80 Pro, and Vivo X80 Pro+ models, and it will likely supplant the Vivo X70 series. A phone from the lineup, thought to be the Vivo X80 Pro, was recently found at the top of the AnTuTu performance benchmark list after supposedly scoring over a million points. The MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC is reported to power the top Vivo cellphone.

According to MySmartPrice, citing industry insiders, the Vivo X80 series will debut in India in April 2022, and it may launch first in China. According to the leak, the Vivo X80 Pro+ would include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and a Zeiss-tuned camera configuration with Vivo's Gimbal Stabilisation.

A rumoured Vivo X80 series smartphone was recently detected on benchmarking site AnTuTu, which stated in a post on Weibo that a Vivo smartphone with model number PD2186X got a total score of 1,072,221 points. According to AnTuTu, the phone in question is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC and has acquired the best score so far across all operating models.

It might have a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS, a secondary 48-megapixel IMX598 sensor, and two 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 sensors with 2x and 5x magnification.
